Short Version

MyGov365 was founded by citizens for citizens. Your trust and loyalty are very important to us. MyGov365 will never share, rent or sell your Personally Identifiable Information with anyone, ever. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term "Personally Identifiable Information" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains.

MyGov365 has created this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") to demonstrate its commitment to fully disclosing the information collection and use practices applicable to this Internet Web site (the "Web site").
By using or accessing the Web site, you signify your acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Web site, products and/or services and exit the Web site immediately.

  1. Types of Information and Method of Collection
    • General Information Collection
    • By Browsing. As you browse the Web site the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer, "cookies" (described below) and other standard tracking data MyGov365 uses to evaluate Web site traffic and usage patterns are collected. Such information is aggregated with tracking data from all Web site visitors. If you only browse this Web site, but do not become a member you are not required to identify yourself or provide any personally identifiable information. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term "Personally Identifiable Information" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains.
    • By Web Site Requirement. To register as a member of this Web site you are required to provide the following Personally Identifiable Information: a display name that you create, active e-mail address which is used as your login, and zip code. First and last name are option.
    • By User's Voluntary Submission. When using the blog, events, group and comments features on the Web site, you may choose to provide other Personally Identifiable Information. If you post Personally Identifiable Information anywhere on the Web site, it will be available to third parties and you may receive unsolicited messages from those parties. MyGov365 has no obligation to ensure the security or confidentiality of any information you choose to make available in these parts on the Web site. Also, MyGov365 cannot ensure that parties who have access to such information will respect your privacy. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose Personally Identifiable Information.
    • Cookies

      The Web site uses a feature of your browser to set "cookies" on your computer. Cookies are small packets of information sent by the Web site through your browser to your computer. MyGov365 uses cookies to save your password so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Web site. These cookies can be deleted or modified through your browser Internet settings. You may modify your browser preferences to provide you with choices relating to cookies. You have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject cookies you may be unable to use those MyGov365 services that require registration in order to participate, will have to sign in each time you visit the Web site, or may not be able to utilize fully all of the Web site's features and information.

      Information on Children

      MyGov365 does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. On-line registration and Web site usage is intended for people who are professionally engaged in the businesses MyGov365 serves. If MyGov365 learns that it has Personally Identifiable Information on a child under the age of 13, MyGov365 will delete that information from its systems. MyGov365 encourages parents and guardians to monitor children's online usage. Parental control protections, such as computer hardware, software or filtering services, are commercially available to limit the access to material that is harmful to minors.

  2. How Information Collected is Used
    • The information collected by and through the Web site is owned solely by MyGov365. The information collected by and through this Web site will by used solely by MyGov365, its divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates, or other entities that are involved in the operation of this Web site for MyGov365's internal purposes and is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties.

      MyGov365 may use the information collected and provided, individually or in an aggregate form, as follows:

    • to contact you about the Web site. For example, MyGov365 may contact you to send a welcome e-mail to verify your username and password, to inform you about User benefits, to inform you if another user has responded to a post you have made on the Web site, to inform you of changes to the Terms of Use Agreement or Privacy Policy of the Web site, to inform you that you have violated the Terms of Use Agreement, to inform you that the Web site is suspended for maintenance, or to inform you of a change in ownership or control of the information collected by and through the Web site;

    • to customize the content you see on the Web site; and
    • to monitor compliance with MyGov365's Terms of Use Agreement of the Web site.
  3. With Whom Information is Shared
    • The following outlines the ways in which your information may be shared with others:

      Aggregate Information:

      We may share aggregate information, such as general demographics and Web Site usage statistics to premium users or third parties of the Web Site. When general demographic information is shared with third parties, we do not provide them with the Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to MyGov365.

      MyGov365 Subsidiaries and Affiliates:

      We may share your Personally Identifiable Information with employees, agents, parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates of MyGov365.

      Business Transfers:

      The Web site, MyGov365 and/or a subsidiary or division of MyGov365 may be sold along with its assets, or other transactions may occur in which your Personally Identifiable Information is one of the business assets transferred. In such a case, your Personally Identifiable Information, which we have gathered, may be one of the business assets we transfer.

      Legal Process:

      MyGov365 reserves the right to disclose the information collected by and through this Web site, including your Personally Identifiable Information, as required by law and when MyGov365 believes that such disclosure is necessary to protect MyGov365's rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, subpoena, court order or other legal process served on MyGov365. The disclosure of this information may be without notice to you.

  4. Security and Encryption
    • While there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the Internet, MyGov365 takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect the Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to MyGov365 when you register as a member on the Web site. We use SSL encryption technology on the Web site and a secure server to encrypt information transmitted between your browsers and our server. As a result, Personally Identifiable Information that you submit during the registration process is transmitted using commercially reasonable security over the Internet.

      Our security policies are reviewed periodically and revised as required. The servers for the Web site that contain Personally Identifiable Information are stored in a physically secure and climate controlled off-site facility. We protect against data loss by backing-up data, performing, consistency checks and restricting access to information on our servers. It is important to remember that whatever you transmit or disclose online can be collected and used by others or unlawfully intercepted by third parties. No data transmission over the Internet can be 100% secure.

  5. Third Party Links, Web Sites, and Cookies
    • Our Web site contains external links to third party Web sites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content of, or information gathered by these other Web sites. Any Personally Identifiable Information collected by such third parties is subject to such third parties' privacy policy. Third parties may themselves set and access their own cookies on your computer if you choose to have cookies enabled in your browser and you access their Web sites. Third partie' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies.

  6. Notification of Changes
    • MyGov365 reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy simply by posting such change, update or modification on the Web site. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Web site. If at any point MyGov365 decides to use Personally Identifiable Information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we may notify you by way of an e-mail or some other means. Your continued use of the Web site shall constitute your acceptance of such revised Privacy Policy. Since this Privacy Policy may change from time to time, you should review it periodically before you provide any additional Personally Identifiable Information anywhere on the Web site.

  7. Corrections and Updates to Personal Profile
    • You have the option of reviewing, correcting, updating, modifying, and deleting your Personally Identifiable Information or member profile, at any time and as often as desired by personally changing your profile information or by contacting MyGov365 by telephone, facsimile, e-mail, or mail by using the contact information in Section 8, below. However, you must always have an active, personal e-mail address registered on the Web site.

      To the extent that such information is stored in other databases, we cannot always ensure that such corrections or deletions will reach the other databases. We will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your information is removed from or corrected in our records.
